Apparently the claim is they've neglected every character except a couple.

Going by the last chapter Sarada might have some part to play soon, god willing it isn't as a woman for Ada to get jealous about. If Ada realizes Sarada is also immune to her charm and the two start a healthy and loving relationship? that's cool tho

He had Karin act like a rational human being for once with the potential for growth and then snatched it all away. Sakura at least got a whole arc before Kish gave up on her. I dunno, I've seen a lot of bad writing in my life, but this was just plain offensive in how much Kishi showed he did not care. And so I asked why should I care. kishi's female characters are some of the worst in the biz, precisely because he teases interesting concepts, strength, and character development for them and then five minutes later it's "did you really think sakura/karin/etc. would grow as a person and become strong enough to keep up with The Boys and stop caring about their opinions? haha, nah" he should unironically just sit around and invent cool ninjas and ninja techniques and poo poo and then let someone else write stories with those concepts because he is very bad at a lot of the components of good storytelling but comes up with really interesting things to put in his bad stories

There's nothing technical stopping two Mangekyo users from swapping eyes for EMS, but it breaks the theme of the Sharingan - ever increasing power in exchange for ever increasing hatred. The theme demands an Uchiha to be so lost in hatred that murdering their own brother to steal their eyes is a thing that happens.

Seems logical that Sarada's sharingan destiny will be unlocking its even greater potential rooted in love and devotion. I was a bit thrown off by how much time passed in that first chapter. I didn't even notice they made her a grown up for the escort mission so the beginning of this chapter was a bit jarring. This is pretty slow developing so far, hopefully it's building to something interesting.

At least Sarada's parents actually go out and do things Naruto literally had to be kidnapped by Momoshiki and Isshiki to get him out of the village, and I'm looking forward to that happening a third time when we finally get to the events in the flash-forward at the start of the series where he's MIA
