That was a wrinkle I wasn't expecting... lol layers So if I crewed my mindlink mech with a surge engine that already used its second ability, would it be a blue 4/3 flier without defender because Surge Engine's text has been permanently changed at that point? Luis later joined the team, then the game got involved with FTX in some capacity soon after. I don't know all the the details but I those are the broad strokes.

So I just finished opening up a Mishra Pre-Release box and got a retro framed Door to Nothingness. I like fun janky poo poo and something that costs 2xWUBRG to make someone auto lose is stupid expensive and would probably never get pulled off. But I was thinking if I used Jodah, Archmage Eternal's static ability of making everything cost WUBRG instead of whatever the normal cost is, would I be able to use that also on abilities that cost mana or just spells that cast your creatures, artifacts, sorceries, instants? Got the new borderless Teferi too. Seems.......not the best to put it nicely, but the art and schematic background it has is nice. People are really really high on Teferi, Temporal Pilgrim for Pioneer and Standard. Definitely keep an eye on that price if you want to try to flip it.

A friend of mine won his group at the Fifth Dawn prerelease with that thing. His deck was basically mana rocks, mana dorks, walls, and The Door. He won every game by setting it off. It was glorious.

90’s nostalgia and Transformers nostalgia ganged up on me, and got me to buy a collector box. Pretty happy with it despite not getting Optimus Prime or any Shattered Glass cards. Got extended art cards for Mishra, two planes walkers, a cool looking dragon, and One with the Multiverse. A lot of cool looking artifacts too. Also picked up the commander decks. Now I’ll have to figure out how to play that.
