Again a very likpatous story
The funny thing is the Libertarian candidate actually is completely responsible for why we (probably) won't know who controls the Senate until December. With the Libertarian candidate in Georgia, neither Walker nor Warnock could hit 50% so there has to be a runoff election. I say probably because at least at the time of this post, it looks like the Dems will lose Nevada but win Arizona. That means Georgia determines if it's 50/50 again or if the GOP can pull off a 51 seat majority.

That is some lousy, self-serving math. The party not in control of the Oval Office has usually gained a substantial number of seats in the first midterms.

By this historical metric, the Republicans got trounced.

Prior to this election, the Democrats controlled the House of Reps.

But it appears that following this election, the Republicans will control the House

so even if the GOP winds up with a majority of something they didn’t control before — they lost the House election?

OK ...

Historically, the party not in control of the Oval Office makes substantial gains in the first midterm election. This year, the Republicans will have made minimal gains in the House and will lose seat(s) the Senate. This is a very poor showing compared to other midterm elections. Is that simple enough for you? No question the system is bringing weight on him that very few could bear. I often feel bad how few have been been in his corner and how many have stabbed him in the back. He has accomplished some great things as President and also made some bad calls along the path, but he in no way has deserved the hatred that comes in his direction.

The way things are, however, nothing will change.

I cannot fathom how anyone who claims they've always been a big Trump supporter and who knows what unprecedented challenges Trump has overcome can say, "...he does not seem a team player these days."

There is no one else who can do or has done what he has done. When I objected, you say that 'he needs to alter his focus here.' He campaigned for his team of candidates as hard as he ever campaigned for himself, if not harder so I don't see how changing his focus will reduce the institutionalized globalist corruption that is attacking him. This is war - sometimes we have losses but we fight. So what change in focus do you feel would help here?

Your comments undermine his push to keep people motivated and on their feet fighting so I ask again, whom would you like to see replace him? Because you don't attack the one and only fighter of his calibre you have unless you think you can get or make another one somewhere.

You say, "The way things are, nothing will every change." I'm grateful to God that Trump disagrees with you 100% and demonstrates his commitment to change every day by contenting with almost everyone in media and our government, and that he isn't slowing down.

Noted Nazi Laz abandons Trump lol

quote:

Donald Trump is my favorite President, even more so than Ronald Reagan.

However, I think I’m moving on from him.

I like him in the role of a clarion-calling standard bearer, and his presidency was the best I have ever seen.

I don’t like him in terms of his failure to be a team player. I’m not even sure I like him as a kingmaker. Calling out these numbers in a severely-disappointing election shows me he doesn’t care about the boots on the ground, but only how he looks.

Reagan faced the same Establishment hate and Media mocking, but he had a great way of playful rebuttal, with a twinkle in his eye and a little smile. America loved that. All the attacks mustered against him, failed, because he was able to gently turn it around on his attacker with a witty quip or a well thought out fact.

Reagan was also the author of the phrase, the 11th commandment, which was “Thou shall not attack a fellow Republican.”

Trump, on the other hand, has a serious ego problem. He cannot resist getting into a public verbal fight with anyone who criticizes him. While this was fresh and new in 2016, and propelled him into the presidency, it doesn’t work in 2022.

Also, the way Trump fights back is not nearly as good as Reagan’s style. Trump hasn’t got the charm of Reagan, and it’s beginning to hurt our side.

It is for these reasons that I must move on from Donald Trump. Sir, thank you for your incredibly wonderful service in 2016 through 2020. You made those years prosperous and sane. But it is time to move on.

I’m likely to get a ton of flak for this post. That’s okay, I can take it.

They hate both. Of course they hate that single women tend to vote Dem, that's them hating the outcome, but they also believe that "The man is the head of the household and speaks for the entire household, so his wife doesn't need to vote, he has already spoken for her." But just saying "married women shouldn't get to vote" isn't enough, since it would still allow single women to vote. It should be totally fine by their sexist objections to the thing, but since they also hate the outcome of how single women vote, they just want all women banned from voting completely.

It’s even the whole reason there was a weaker Republican vote, although I’m sure the vast majority were Dems.

And the Trump issue was not that important, except for those who always want to move on to the Next Thing merely on whim, which is a different kind of sickness.

The fraud was evident, just as it was in 2020.

Bingo!! We have a winner!

People vote in mass with their wallets. People vote in mass for the security of their family, especially their kids. People don't vote in mass to have the right to kill their babies, but that's what the media and deep state want you to believe. Don't buy it. The 2022 mid term election was simply 2020 2.0

The communists were more subtle with the shenanigans this time around though because of what they learned in 2020.

It’s coincidence, that out of nowhere the polls had it so wrong about the races.
It’s coincidence that people stated on exit polls that inflation, the economy, and crime were there biggest concerns.
It’s coincidence that all of the Trump people ran on those basic items, and the election was so close.
It’s coincidence that the polls malfunctioned and there appears to be ballot dumps

“In politics there are no coincidences-FDR”

The system is trying convince you to vote for somebody besides Trump. They are afraid of Trump, not DeSantis. Think about that.

Those Freepers old enough to remember should think back to red China in the 1960s...specifically,the "Red Guards". Today's Rat Party is controlled by Mao Tse Tung 2.0 and, with the enthusiastic support of Rush's "drive by media", they're recreating Mao's ravishing the countryside.

DJT is one of the more prominent victims of that effort.

To put it another way,DJT will *always* be Hitler's evil twin at NPR and the Amazon Compost...and we all know what that means.

The Rat Party's leaders are utterly depraved...but they're *not* stupid. They'd be far less dangerous if they were.

Right? What rock did all these ants just suddenly crawl out from under?

Some are here as a group to hammer Donald Trump and peel away as many loyal supporters as possible.

There’s a tremendous amount of manipulation that goes on in a forum like FR. The Covid wars here really opened my eyes, and once you recognize it in one place, you realize how insidious it is.

If Trump announces his candidacy next week as expected, gird your loins. It’s going to be like this for the next two years. Expect to be berated and marginalized for supporting a man who regularly extols (and represents) the virtues of American liberty, on a forum (supposedly) dedicated to human freedom. The irony is staggering. It will be just like the Covid wars.

There’s a lot to be said for having the right enemies. DJT has the right enemies.

If we could flip a switch to do it, many of us would give anything to be back in the presidency of Donald Trump.

As good a governor as DeSantis is, he’s still a politician. Trump, while he maneuvers in politics, isn’t a politician. Trump is Trump, and we take him with his quirks and flaws. I hope he never changes. The man had genuine gravitas on the world stage, and presided over a strong, healthy economy.
