Personally, that seems like way too much effort, but I can see that the idea is that once you have your workstreams set up, you can get content designed and made pretty quickly. That said, the plot summary the AI spat out is so generic it was almost tedious to read one paragraph, so there's still scope for humans to be involved.

That is the most generic-rear end RPG content I've ever seen. Double lol that all five character portraits the AI "created" are white and fuckable (this after the author apparently spent quite a bit of time "prompt tuning").quote:I took a look at their plans and saw for $30/month, I could get 15 hours of image generation (the free minutes were like half an hour or so). Since the tech is exciting, and this is still much cheaper than commissioned artwork (and less time intensive than drawing it on my own) That quote is essentially the crux of like 99% of AI "art".

To me, the problem is that, in the before times, you'd interact with the modding community, or the RPG community, or the Baldur's Gate community, or whatever, and pitch your idea to other people who would hopefully help you out free of charge or just for the credit. The project becomes collaborative and hopefully everyone is enriched by the experience. Now it's like, I "made" this whole mod by "myself", which isn't even true because AI bots steal a lot of their content.

The thing about Idea Guys is that pretty much everyone is an Idea Guy. Ideas are cheap. I think you could argue that the person who made the mod isn't even an Idea Guy though, because he needed the AI to write the most generic storyline I've ever heard, the idea wasn't even original.
