Bad Video Games

GaG, you should make chocolate chip banana bread. It's almost a cake and it's simple as hell.

2 eggs
1/2 cup (125 ml) sugar
1 tsp (28 ml) vanilla extract
1/2 cup softened butter
1 tsp baking soda
Pinch of salt
2 tsp cocoa powder
3 ripe bananas
1/2 cup chocolate chips
2 cups wheat flour

Mix eggs and sugar until sugar is dissolved.
Add in vanilla, baking soda, salt and cocoa powder.
Add bananas and mash everything together.
Mix in chocolate chips.
Mix in flour, 125 ml at a time until everything is combined.

Grease a loaf pan, casserole dish, whatever. Pour it in.

Preheat oven to 340F/170C. Bake for 1 hour/until it's done.

I make that poo poo every Sunday.

This past Sunday I also made potato curry, latkes and egg fried rice. Tomorrow I'm making spicy salted chickpeas and maybe more banana bread. Sunday's batch is already gone.

"Ripe" doesn't express quite how nearly-rotten the bananas should be for good banana bread.

Depends on preference really. I prefer my bananas slightly green, so when the peel just starts to brown is when I make bread. It's not as fragrant as traditional banana bread and we end up with chunks of perfectly ripe banana in the loaf. It also means I don't have to wait a week to make it since I can use the bananas I buy on Thursday for Sunday.

Hello yes.

I have no pets at the moment, unless you count my gaggle of plants.

As for crimes, I have not committed any because both weed and psychedelics are legal in the town where I live. Although I have been napping and posting during work hours, which I guess is theft. I probably look quite cute while I nap.
