I still can't believe they basically didn't even try to promote that movie. They thought a Batman TAS movie wasn't worth the effort. I assume the tv show had incredible ratings, I don't know what they were thinking.

It was originally gonna be direct to video and was pretty late when they decided to release it theatrically, so I don't think they had time for a full on marketing push.

I saw that in the theater as a kid, so I made it. Definitely one of the coolest movies ever.

On marketing / money, sure, it made half as much as Rock-A-Doodle. But it was pretty close to reaching Bebe's Kids 8 mil anyway. All fine films. Well I liked 'em.

Yeah, it's a mix of stuff I found striking in a good way (like the first Hinklenton one) and goofy ways (the Gosier page that looks like the inspiration for Superhero Squad, JNCO Punisher, and the controller in the Marvel Knights page)
