gotta go out of town for a week-long work trip next month and trying to figure out my coffee strategy (assuming no good/easy coffee shops, and that I'm a precious coffee weirdo). I get to drive, so not worrying about TSA currently thinking beans/hario manual grinder/aeropress because those are the things I have, heating up water in an in-room microwave e: also thinking about getting a new french press for less effort/more coffee per day

I get to drive, so not worrying about TSA They make faster + more consistent manual grinders than the Hario ones nowadays (at least without the problem the Harios have of the burrs shifting around as you grind), if you're willing to spend some money on them. Like there's Timemore ones for under $100, and between $100-$200 there's 1zpresso and lots of others.
