Twitter is also probably the worst tech company to try and brain drain like this. They're one of the few remaining examples in tech that runs all their own poo poo in their own data center, and not in AWS. They can't just find all these specific hardware specialists overnight. The amount of homegrown automation and processes must be insane. These cultist volunteers that are mobilized by Elon are going to cry once they're shipped to the frontlines inside the Twitter data center. The best part is Musk gave people less than 24 hour notice to sign the pledge or be fired. In Blind, Twitter folks are saying they have coworkers that are sick, in a hospital, or on vacation and thus are not even reachable to sign this notice by today. They were automatically fired as well.
