This observation might have been more prescient a couple hours ago, but You know how people talking about radiation poisoning say that if you get a high enough dose, you'll suffer some relatively minor short-term effects, some skin burns, but otherwise feel fine — maybe even get a little extra energy and skip in your step — but in reality you're a walking corpse because you don't have any bone marrow anymore. Twitter "will die"? Um

It seems like the down detector thing is probably just people having fun. That site generates “down” reports just from users clicking a button to report an outage. I’m sure things WILL go down soon, but I don’t think the site is actively sinking yet.
