Did a search on Chandler in the old thread, here's the 6 posts referencing him before he signed: Diva Cupcake: No of course not. They may finally be able to fix that Dline with him. The Zach Ertz cockblocking Eagles are also interested though unfortunately, as are other teams. Professor Funk: I'm disappointed, but I'm not gutted. Let's see what they do to pivot. TBQH I would pivot the money to Chandler Jones if I were Douglas and try to sign Lucky Whitehead or Terrell Edmunds. t a s t e: I guess Beane was kicking the tires on Ogbah so maybe they are gonna go after Chandler Jones <later> Would have been nice to add depth but adios 1B rb for 3.5m Just more money for the secret bidding war over chandler Jones

The Jets interest in Jones wasn't really reported until after he had signed and then it was more of an 'oh drat. oh well' type of thing. Williams was playing at an all pro level and then his wrist exploded. It's still too bad the Jets didn't get him.
