I'm planning to lead an informal study group in the off-season thread. The goal will be to learn more about the chemistry and physics behind Teflon and why anyone who uses or endorses non-stick pans is a bad person. [edit] unless you are putting plastic cutting boards in a dishwasher or otherwise sterilizing them, in which case plastic is fine I guess. I use plastic and just chuck them in the dishwasher, I should just go to wood since I'm sure I'm slicing up some microplastics every time I use the plastic one
