When I played football in high school, our afternoon fall practices would bring in the gnats as it cooled off. They would congregate right around your helmet, fly in your eyes & ears; it was loving annoying.

Someone figured out that if you held one arm straight up & bent your hand horizontally, the gnats would congregate above your hand rather than your helmet. It's a good ting we were in motion most of practice, because we looked ridiculous when we were standing still.

It worked, though. Little fuckers stayed out of my face.

Most of them are fine, but some of them are getting just a bit too close to seizure triggering territory for my photo-sensitive epilepsy.
Like this one right here. Its...really close to being an absolutely day ruining problem.

E: correction, that one was, in fact, across the line of becoming an issue.
Hasn't killed off my ability to form a sentence like has happened in previous seizures, but I'm definitely dizzy now. Please fix that gif by spoilering it.

Not to make light of the problem by any means, but have you considered using one of the *monkey extensions (not Greasemonkey since it's now malware) with the script below to stop videos from autoplaying, among other things? It may not help if the first frame of the video doesn't show that it's an anime thing, but it should help for a lot of them.

definitely add that add on to halt gifs from autoplaying, but I'll keep in mind with future gifs and mark them if they have any sort of flashing/flickering that I can perceive whatsoever.

I'm guessing its the guy after the transformation when it's zooming in and flashing white for a couple frames during the zoom in that did it? I'm not very familiar with seizure triggers.
