You are coming down with me, hand in unlovable hand.

And I hope you die.

I hope we both die.

I admit streaks have to run out eventually, but there's a lot of very comfortable betting against James Cameron here, and he often comes out on top when that does happen.

I mean, it's not like this didn't already happen! We had an Avatar come out, and it made a gently caressload of money. I suspect it'll happen again and everyone will be just as confused as the first time.

I think this one will do well because it's been so long since the first and there haven't been a lot of reasons for people to get excited about a movie since COVID. But if the third one actually comes out in 2024, it'll flop hard.

Why? If the second does well a sequel two years later seems entirely reasonable.

They seem like event movies that few people think are actually good and I don’t think the novelty is as strong if the next movie is coming two years later.

And all the games since: that stained glass window design has appeared over the castle entrance in dozens of games by this point, it's a very strong part of the peach 'branding'.

Oh yeah I guess that means it is over the entrance and the throne is just upstairs and back-to-the-front, in my head I was just imagining illumination moved the window to the back of the castle to backlight the throne as you enter and it was only meant to be viewed from the inside.

Hope the bear gets a happy ending. Know that's not how apparently the actually story went, but yeah, if it ends with the bear just like having a joint the morning after, just chilling on a couch, watching whatever. Yeah 10/10 film.
