The United States has no strategic interest in reducing global energy supply. None whatsoever. Any possible problems are years down the line and will mostly be another administration's problem anyway and the next generation can solve it then.

There's a brand of herbal extract toothpaste where the herb has a lot of fluoride (which is part of why it works) but the "natural" toothpaste has none
