Advertising isn’t a waste of money, but it has to be targeted. Seeing ads for fabric softener when you’re looking at titties probably doesn’t have a great ROI for the company pushing the ads

The last time I heard of Apple banning a major social media app was when they kicked out Tumblr because of all the porn there with unmoderated access and/or about cartoon kid characters. Tumblr in turn banned NSFW content which caused creators (both of the aforementioned content and of normal NSFW content) to flee to Twitter, where their addiction to discourse metastasized thanks to Twitter already being a shithole for interactions. Now those people are trying to go back to Tumblr because now you can show a boob there again so lmfao What I'm trying to say is while I would never call Apple or Google heroes I hope Elon keeps picking a fight with them.

Depending on how much of the investment they bought into, the investor owns that % of the internal stock of Twitter, which would be the number of shares that were purchased by the consortium led by Musk to transfer ownership to him and delist it from the stock market. The value they hold is all based upon internal metrics and revenue now, and that stock is rapidly devaluing and was never worth what was paid for it in the first place.

that is an insanely rapid and severe loss of control for a modern road car. holy poo poo. like corvair monza tier deathtrap unless all driver assists are completely off, it should not even be possible to force that amount of liftoff oversteer, especially in an electric car that can send exactly the amount of power that it needs to the rear wheels to prevent the back from stepping out. let alone have it do it *on its own*. even before factoring in the self-driving part, out of every dangerous handling characteristic a car can have: that is by far the most dangerous and undesirable and they're selling these for people to drive their kids around in, not for killing Paul Walker, jfc.
