Gotta hand it to Ennis, he writes the most menacing of all Punishers.

I really like this, because other writers have shown how Kyle occasionally just doodles and it's a really endearing trait*.

It did lead to one of my favourite comic moments where Batman asks to see Kyle's drawings and they have this nice conversation where Kyle talks about how he is a visual person....which inspires Batman to come up with a plan to blind Kyle if he ever needed to stop him.

* = Apart from that fifth week event where a bunch of half formed characters that Kyle created became real due to his Green Lantern ring and almost destroyed the Earth.

This does not make sense when, again, aggregate indicia also indicate improvements. The belief that things are worse is false. It remains false.

To expand a bit further, because comic sans is a font that comes with Microsoft Word by default and because of its naming, design and status as a sans serif font, it’s developed a reputation over the years as the low-effort font people use in amateurishly made “fun” writing, making it a stereotypical mark of unprofessionalism- to the point where it’s mostly used ironically.

The font’s original intended design was to mimic comic lettering, I think for Microsoft assistants like Clippy.

The papyrus font has a similar rep for people trying to make zero-effort “old” writing.

Both fonts are poor choices for a resume.

Specifically it attempted to emulate Dave Gibbons lettering in Watchmen.
