He likely won't play

But he looks a good prospect because he's able to maintain his pace over a day. I'd expect that to be tested in a test match but he's much fitter than Meredith who is the only over super fast bowler in shield right now.

Basically he's one to watch and likely will be picked when the selectors feel like they need someone super fast. I imagine if it was starc who went down they would consider it

They're probably going to lose 15 overs to bad light so might still end in a draw.

It was the most runs in a five day test match ever full stop.

England are still below the West Indies and out of final contention in the very important World Test Championship standings and this win made it easier for India to reach the final

This cycle is a wash for England which is why we can perfect Bazball for the next cycle.

As much as I dislike England, I think it's great these hyper aggressive tactics are actually working, if other teams start copying, test cricket becomes even more awesome.

And it's not just in the batting, I thought that declaration was way too generous but here we are. It's like a race car driver decided to jam his throttle open and climbed onto the roof to play a guitar solo and not only didn't crash, but won the race.

I don’t think that’s fair.

They conceded a 657 first innings and managed to take the game to the very final session.

Finally watching the highlights of England/Pakistan and it was cool to see the fields Stokes was setting. I've seen the super slip cordons or the crowding during spin but never this whole play for low catches strategy; I didn't even know teams tried poo poo like that and just thought it was a fun thing to do in Cricket 22. Now that I think about it, everything about Bazball is similar to videogame strategy so maybe they gamed a lot during Covid and figured it out.

I am a bit hungover so I don't fully get this.

Is he saying "I asked to have my ban overturned as per the rules, the rules got changed to prevent me from having my ban lifted, so now I am withdrawing my request as I am getting mugged off"?
