I used to love drinking coco (a very popular brand of milk tea in china). Their basic drink is only 1.20$. but then my wife told me the non dairy creamer they used is transfat, and that also goes for pretty much every single milk tea place. I had to cut back, which was really sad.

I have received multiple free little bullshit trinkets included with stuff from Amazon marketplace including, yes, packs of seeds that I did not and would not ever in one million years order. also received metal wire keychain thing (that I love and still use) and a chip clip/magnet I’m sure plenty of people ordered and forgot but you will get free poo poo along with your purchase from Amazon sometimes hoping for a positive review

people will just order poo poo off amazon on an impulse not noticing that it's shipping to them from shanghai and will take 4-6 weeks. there's not much more to it besides maybe amazon logistics getting hosed mid pandemic and delivering stuff to the wrong people
