Apparently Korean Air is still flying passenger 747? Can anyone tell me if either of these two flights is likely to be on a 747 KE 660 KE 23 My itinerary says 777-300 for the first one, 777-300ER for the second one, but that's of dubious reliability. Why did Korea Air keep buying passenger 747 through 2017 and where are they flying them?

Could you do KE017 (ICN -> LAX) instead of KE023? 017 is supposed to be a 747-8i. When I flew JFK - ICN, we took a 747 there and an A380 back. I liked the 747 better, but it looks like they replaced it with a 777.

The eldest 747 still in service is Saudi Arabian HZ-HM1B circa November 1977, according to the internet 1413 hours on 894 cycles as of 2021 supposedly. Seems... low https://www.news18.com/news/auto/saudi-arabian-royal-flight-operates-worlds-oldest-active-boeing-747-aircraft-3939458.html

You could launch a big missile from a 747
