the cannonball incident I have always assumed ended in a large private settlement. no one was hurt and there was extensive video evidence of professional supervision, so it really was just a freak accident the main sequence of mythbusters ended when they dissolved the build team and did a couple of seasons of only adam and jamie, it was never the same
