He was like an unofficial mascot of Sapporo, which is where I did my year abroad. I used to have a cellphone charm of him in a bowl of ramen (famous food of Sapporo) with his bulge coming out of the noodles.

Some time within the past couple years there was a big deal made about it, and they were yanked from commercial distribution.

Alternatively, try to do half an hour of exercise for some dopamine boost (it works!) and/or drink a chamomile infusion (works less effectively but it's a non-committed passive action).
