just loving lmao trying to stir poo poo when the middle ranks are openly loling about. It's like a colleague of mine (sgt/technician) said about : almost all conscripts are poor and in the majority of cities they are people who are only seen as such by bozominions because suddenly they are in uniform, and that poo poo stings regardless of what they think about bozo or lula. The competent people in the middle ranks, be it in any ideological direction, just roflmao about it because they are very self-aware about how the armed forces are in no position to solve anything and double roflmao doing anything without extensive USA/NATO support. The incompetent are monumentally stupid but remain officers because they understand the basic fact in military life of shutting up when being told to shut up.

High ranks, as posted before here and talked about by the few competent people in journalism, historians, academicians of different stripes, former officers and the like is remains the same: actual political skill matters far more than anything. Bozo was a monumental dumbass in the sense that he couldn't even keep his mouth shut and lucked out to his rank by being having specialist experience. None of the generals of actual note have any problem whatsoever with PT because the armed forces got raises, study programs, benefit reviews, etc. Some of the current colonels and generals got there thanks to the Itamaraty of Lula and Dilma getting them around the world for the prestige

Also, anecdotal again (both from my colleague and my ex-father-in-law, retired lieutenant): the vocal lunatics are the retired senior officers who think they are capable of doing anything even though the only contact they have with the army as an institution is going to the club for 30 years. The other lunatic crowd, retired middle rank officers, are an Actual Problem in the sense that these dumbasses may have access to guns and have whatsapp brain rot. Not a problem in an institutional sense, they would get completely hosed over and their livelihood if they actually tried to do a thing and they know it - but certainly will try shooting somebody while drunk on sundays or some loving bullshit like that
