Hmm, no that can't be right. I have it on good authority that this is what Sean Kugler looked like in Mexico City:

This really needs to be the end for Ed Donatell. If it wasn't absolutely clear before (it was) it is now.

jeff was going to get hired as the fulltime coach in the first half and had a permanent zero percent chance by the end of the game. no one knew this is why i said it in here.

That's most of the season for the Vikes honestly.

But hell, look at the Vikes in the first half. Blocked punt TD, pick six, lost fumble, failed fake punt, another stuff on 4th and 1. Just a masterclass in failing on single plays.

This is pretty much exactly what the Vikings fans in the NFC North thread have been doing most of the year.

But a win is a win and going down 33-0 and winning is still better than what the Raiders have been doing all year.

A big flaming stink
Apr 26, 2010
I'm trying to game in my head exactly how hard would it be for the colts to have lost their lead if they did nothing but run run run punt on every possession.

30 minutes in the second half, they take off 2 minutes per possession, and the Vikings need to score five times to take the lead, so that's 10 minutes off the clock.

The Vikings need to score with an average of a 4-minute drive every time they touch the ball to win in this scenario

It's exasperating because the skill players are there for a much better defense but Ed Donatell seems absolutely committed to one defensive scheme even when it doesn't work 95% of the time.

DBs are ten yards off every down regardless of down and distance, there are constant communication problems and a lack of adjustments to offensive formations leaves players with impossible coverage choices. ALL THE TIME.

So yeah the wins are fun but there are parts that are extremely frustrating.
