I have been lurking and reading this thread for years. Every freeper is awful and repulsive of course, but some are more stupid than others, some are obviously crazy, some are more clearly dishonest, some are wildly egotistical, all of them are racist but some more overtly than others, etc. They are all special flowers in their own way. With that said, I would like to open nominations for the award of the Very Worst Freeper of Them All. To open nominations, I first suggest central_va. He is particularly hateful, obviously stupid, openly racist, proud of his ignorance, remarkably gullible, and actively hostile to both normal people and to other freepers. To me, he stands out as a particularly smelly and loathsome floater, even in the sea of turds that is Freep, and I have no doubt that he joyfully participated in a lynching or two in his halcyon days of youth. Can anyone suggest a better candidate for this prestigious award?

When Trump misses out on the nomination and forms his own third party, effectively tanking the Republican's chances at the presidency, Freep is going to be delicious. (I'm so traumatized by the past seven years that I'm still not convinced Trump won't somehow be in office again come 2024. But I still think he would be less destructive than DeSantis.)

It's not that it's really more likely, but that belief in Q became necessary to excuse the fact that Trump did a fairly bad job doing anything that wasn't appointing judges handed to him by The Federalist Society. Most of his initiatives got hamstrung by congress or took far longer because they were too dumb to follow the Administrative Procedures Act. Instead of accepting this reality it became more comforting to instead believe in an insane conspiracy theory that involved Trump being hypercompetent behind the scenes.

The weird conservative obsession with IQ is always pretty God drat funny, sad, and scary. I could be completely wrong, but I'm reasonably sure Musk doesn't have an IQ "approaching 200" either. That would put him in territory past Einstein. They are like little kids, saying, "My uncle in the Military is a SEVEN STAR GENERAL it's a super secret rank for the most best'est men in the service." I had an uncle with a crazy IQ, and I saw the paperwork about it from his childhood after he died. Want to know what he did for a living? Dude was a bartender. As far as I understand it can be useful for demonstrating how readily kids are picking stuff up, but the key point is that it isn't a measure of innate intelligence, it is a measure of education and a bunch of developable skills.
