The new PS+ Extra/Premium stuff is up now. Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus is 4-5 gigs for some reason, the original game was on two CDs on PS1. Yakuza: Like A Dragon is streamable, although if you do this you won't have access to the Fist of the North Star slots; it works as free DLC to keep the disc version under 50 gigs. I don't think any items in the slots' store are exclusive, though. There's one Hostess weapon there but you can find it in random silver safes of dungeons.

I have the disc-based PS5 because I have a lot of PS4 discs and saving $100 to cut my game collection in half is not my idea of a good value

I know that but each version is this size, it's like 9 gigs total for both. I checked and it appears that on PS1 there were distinct versions in each European region (for different languages) so that's probably what's happening, it's 5 sets of the game to cover EFIGS.

Or Dead or Alive Xtreme 2  I love having a big collection of physical PS4 games that, I want to use in the future on a PS5. That and having a DVD/blu-ray player for whatever reason.

I don’t even know where my nearest game store is anymore because they closed the local branch of GAME a few months ago. The last time I went in there I tried to browse their used PS5 games but they were in a pretty much completely unlit corner of the store next to the GAMING ARENA or whatever the gently caress they call the place where you can pay a bunch of money to play games on what I can only assume are the stickiest, most abused controllers and kb+m setups in the world. I couldn’t read any of the spines in the near-darkness and wasn’t about to pull everything out to check the covers so I quickly lost interest. Never don’t just buy games off the internet.

My local gaming shop is a tiny brick box tucked away behind an ice cream shop. It's shaped like a nintendo cartridge and has the Nintendo Power magazine font for a sign. It's run by some queer folk that are 10 years younger than me at the very least and they have a gaming music vinyl section. It is truly magical.
