I haven't used my switch in 18 months. I can spend dozens of hours on chinese autochesses but marios just feel like a waste of time it's weird.

the only marios i own on switch are mario kart and mario tennis and i've only even ever played the latter, both of them were a fun prank by the coworker who convinced me to buy a switch saying "pick this up so we can play it together!" and then we never did. i wised up after the first 10 or 20 times he did that though

I'm 10 hours into River City Girls 2, playing on Steam Deck. I've been having quite a bit of fun with it. There are 6 playable characters and they all function a little differently. That said, the two new characters, Marian and Provie, have by far been my favorites so far. Marian is a grappler and has a ton of options for stunning and throwing enemies. Plus she has this fun Pro-Wrestler theming to her moves. Provie is the break-dance-fighter from Zoolander, and is focused on comboing. It's quite satisfying to rack up big combos with her, moving from the ground, to the air, re-juggling, back to the air, etc. Gameplay is mostly just fetch-questy type stuff, getting the player to move around the city (which is actually quite big) and fight random suckas in the process. The loop would get boring quick I think, but they keep it fresh with a steady RPG arc as each character gets stronger and learns new moves. One fun little mechanic is you can recruit enemies and then call them in as assists in combat, has a bit of a collect-em-all aspect. Fun game! If you're interested in a new beat-em-up I recommend it. Maybe a *bit* overpriced right now but I think it's worth it if you know you like brawlers.

Speaking of sales, Fanatical just opened up a few $1 deals, one of them being Slain+Valfaris: https://www.fanatical.com/en/bundle/valfaris-and-slain-double-pack They're 2d pixel art hack and slash with awesome metal soundtrack, as well as a button for optional headbanging after killing a boss, which too many games neglect. Slain is fantasy, and the older game, Valfaris is the more recent game and sci-fi. They're both awesome and that price is an absolute steal.

It's just either I'm home and gaming on my PC, or out and can't game. There is no in between. I had fun with Pokemone Sword/Shield and bounced of BOTW  I am extremely allergic to gaming and not being able to immediately alt tab for whatever reason.I want to want to use my Switch or buy a Deck but I know it'd just collect dust too. ok, well if you mean metroid, i can throw a rock on steam and hit 50 metroid-likes, so i'm not interested if you mean splatoon like the other guy posted above, i don't play competitive shooters these days, and if i *did*, i would pick up one of the billion on steam and not the one i best know for a bunch of people getting banned for posting porn of all the squid kids on these forums there's bayonetta 3 but i picked up bayonetta 1 and 2 and haven't even played those yet so it feels unnecessary to grab
