lol the guy made a lot machines before they made that game? I actually find the slot machine aesthetic of opening the chests to be super loving obnoxious because I would rather just get my items and get back to the fray, but at least it makes sense now.

you know how to do something an extremely small percentage of humans on earth know how to do. that you hosed up slightly isn't a huge deal, i mean you didn't poison a bunch of people? i remember dropping a carton of queen cells, and angel telling me "well they may have all just died" and feeling like poo poo made human, but they didn't all die, and things were okay. mistakes are part of the process. you just gotta identify the exact circumstances that occurred and prevent it in the future.

Yeah. Just feels like a dumb rookie mistake. There's that part of me saying that at least I was able to identify the problem and see how it affected other similar beers I've had issues with so moving forward I can fix it. There's that other part of me that's really frustrated with myself.

here's an example that just popped into my head, you're baking something you've never baked before and when you're making the dough you put flour down on the counter or whatever like you always do but it turns out that made the dough too dry but you didn't realize that when you could fix it because you didn't know it was too dry cause you weren't used to making it.

Is there such a thing as a decent mp3 player anymore? Something with a drag and drop interface that doesn't require some bullshit proprietary software to load music files to it? I'm like at the end of my rope here YT Music like barely worked so I was using it while holding out hope that I'd find even some obscure janky rear end open source version of Google Play Music, but it's like Spotify and iTunes bullshit all the way down.
