There's no link to contact support on their website, at all and it just tells you to call them. Their phone menu doesn't have ANY choices for computer parts or laptops, the closest thing is Galaxy Tabs. Ended up having to use the chatbot to call a support member in and they gave me an email address to get it done through Samsung Enterprise. Sarnsung is pretty bad, it took months and month of calling and emailing every week or so to get a RMA through. I got a full refund of the purchase price so all's well that ends well, but still. (Checking my gmail it took about 3 months_

I've given up and just buy expensive cables now and they've been way less poo poo.. Lasted longer, and actually worked for fast charging compared with the garbage on ebay. Belkin or whatever isn't the cheapest

My family does a bring a plate type thing for Christmas This year it's loosely Italian themed and I'm on nibbles and salad so I'm making caponata bruschettas and roast vegetable salad with romesco (Spanish is loosely Italian) sauce Missus is on dessert so she's making semifreddo and cannolis

I'm just amazed that everyone's schedules have lined up this year. Normally that doesn't happen until late January. There's a currawong on my roof and the magpies are not happy about it. Our electric kettle from Kmart came with a tea strainer attachment so that you can actually make tea in the kettle. Elissimpark posted:I can't poach an egg in water to save my life, probably some weird witch's curse. I couldn't until one day I just could. Same with using chopsticks. The eggs need to be fresh if you're going to poach them so they don't spread out. I don't know why I didn't realise that because I did know that eggs which aren't fresh spread out if you're frying them. I'm very much a "whatever works for you" cook.

The real trick to poached eggs is a 10% vinegar solution and having the water at a decent simmer. Fresh eggs do help but the vinegar and the temp are the most important. It's worked for multiple others in the discord and my old man wants me to teach him the tricks

Nah gently caress adding vinegar to poached eggs, I don’t want them tasting like vinegar. Grab a sieve and crack the egg into a small bowl. Then tip it into the sieve and gently roll it around. Scrape the underside of the sieve to remove any loose water/wispy bits of egg white (the newer the egg, the less there is of this - why new eggs are best for poached). Then tip the egg out and back into a small bowl. This will get rid of most of the part of the white that goes wispy and everywhere. Then before you put it in the water, stir the water into a gentle whirlpool. Tip it in the middle and use the moving water to hold it together for the first few seconds as it sets. Ive decided to try and befriend the weird loving dude who inherited the building on brunswick st with the thai restaurant and the old lust for life tattoo parlour and just lives in there smoking weed and loudly listening to the radio with his three dogs and people watching. Starting out slow by saying hi whenever i walk past. Gonna build that up to being one of the chosen few allowed to sit on his cane furniture and from there its just a matter of time until i can pet the dogs
