Due to people moving or renovating, I scored a new bed, a new lounge and a large water feature yesterday. Will also be getting a pressure washer. My daughter in law's parents are downsizing from a literal mansion to a 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom house, so gently caress only knows what they will be getting rid of when they move.

Far out Christmas was busy, I've made the third of five trips I have to make from Engadine to the airport today (first drop off) I'm at the Sutherland hospital, Mrs has had a pilonidal abcess flare up so waiting for the GP to bring back her antibiotic script. The old bird on our left had some sort of gnarly vomiting spell, then between big voms "that's a kebab" Old fella to the right had to get a gastronasal tube which was quite unpleasant to listen to Now there's a young indigenous bloke who was found borderline unresponsive in his place, covered in his own blood from wounds to his arms and knees, who is being a massive pest to the nursing staff asking for a cup of tea (he may have to get stitches and surgery). Swearing a lot and carrying on like an entitled child. He was absolutely shitfaced apparently. He keeps carrying on wanting to go home while also complaining about having to sit down because several wounds are actively still bleeding. I've had a gutful, thankfully he's not keeping the Mrs awake. He's acting very fucken entitled and obviously is a frequent visitor here.

Also getting mad mentally about the fact that I've never been to a hospital that didn't have paid parking. Like I get that it's a service you're providing but gently caress me why should it cost me money to go visit my dying grandfather (previously happened in Toowoomba, I would often visit him after work for a few hours most days and it would cost me $10-20). Also gently caress getting old. I can hear all sorts old folks just sounding miserable and all I can think is when I hit like 75 just get one of those pneumatic pistons they use to kill cattle and blast it into my loving brain stem

ED parking is free at my hospital. You can also get a reduced cost pass if you're visiting frequently.
