What's that hip hop song where the rapper kind of stutters or something? Might be a Kanye song? I think he says something like "Kid-kid-kid-kid-kid". It's not quite stuttering I guess but it's not really normal talking either. It's kinda interesting.

You are not thinking of Lupe Fiasco's "Kick, Push" are you? He does it a couple of times, and "k-kunk-k-kunk-kunk" or whatever could be vaguely reminiscent of what you are envisioning

I'm almost positive he does the "stutter" in a section without instrumentals. Just his voice

I'm trying to find a song that I'm sure was posted pretty recently in PYF or something (like, in the last month) but I just can't find again. It was a Japanese band, sorta electronic/experimental music (to my layman's ear at least), sorta retro/dated. The film clip was mostly a white background, and it featured dancers doing popping and locking, like three or four different ones, solo. I remember one was a girl in a school uniform, and drat good for just a kid. I remember sparse verses, just drums and some vocals that sounded like "anna ninna! anna ninna! anna ninna!" alternating with a kinda harsh, trebly, electronic instrument playing a melody line that went something like ER-ni-ker-ko ER-ni-ker-ko ER-ni-ker-ko. And then the chorus was a recorder melody with other guitar and other instruments backing. It was weird, but oddly engaging. I think the band name began with a P? It was something in English, and was in the film clip in big letters.

Heard a song on the radio last night, it was either Phil Collins or Peter Gabriel. It wasn't In The Air Tonight or Solisbury Hill. It was upbeat and kind of bleepy-bloopy, with a synth ostinato throughout. Flipping through youtube best of compilations isn't turning it up. Any help is appreciated. Edit: As soon as I post, I found it. PC - Take Me Home Lester Shy fucked around with this message at 01:36 on Jan 1, 2023 |

electronic track from 6-12 minutes, "take the night train to the sky, I'm still here..." https://soundcloud.com/farblue/a-far-blue-concept-by-boaksi-blossom the fact that soundcloud mixes don't require tracklists is insanely annoying lol

Hi Chaps, Shazam has failed me so here I am. They're metal songs but if you'd be able to name any of the songs at: 10:03 26:30 42:52 https://wastedtalentmag.com/blog/2022/12/05/arnow/ That would be wunderbar! I think it's the same band but the song at 10:03 in particular would be great, thanks!

Abugadu posted:Definitely Courtney Love singing, flipping through Hole's discography and not finding much though. I was thinking it sounded more like Kat Bjelland or maybe even Mia Zapata. I'm not quite convinced it's Courtney Love yet, but it could be. They certainly have their similarities, so it's tough to distinguish with a low quality recording and the narration over it making it tough to pick out lyrics.

I’m looking for a song titled “?”. It’s about five minutes long, slow dark synth/ambient track. I remember hearing it from time to time. The melody mainly consists of a descending scale but it’s a real mood setter and it’s really hard to search for on the Internet. Does this track ring a bell to anybody? Edit: Found it! It’s by Mark Pritchard. Kart Barfunkel fucked around with this message at 17:12 on Feb 23, 2023 |

hello. maybe this is the wrong place for this ask. I'm looking for a music video from the early 2000s that has a bizarre Japanese game show theme. I thought it was a Duran Duran video but I can't find it. thanks

I saw a music video on YouTube a while back I can’t find again and I don’t remember the song or artist, the gist of the video is a woman encounters a floating golden sphere in like an empty subway station and it shoots a needle into her forehead, somewhat like the spheres in Phantasm but without any gore. What was this?

I figure this is the best place to look for this. My father had a record in the past and on the inside of the foldout sleeve is a picture that is a recolorised frame from "by a waterfall/footlight parade". I made a quick mock up of it and hope someone recognizes it.
