I could redraw it on non-cheap paper for you but not sure about the legality of selling something like that which is copied from existing artwork..

Because of depression I really struggled to produce art this year--these are about it for the year. The local artist org I'm part of finally started up figure drawing again a couple months ago. I found out this week they're discontinuing it already. :( Here's hoping 2023 is a little better...

Really cool art! This one especially stood out to me. Love how you rendered it.

Love them! What's their class?

I've not posted my art here before. I used to draw like 20 years ago, and earlier this year I started talking to my fiancee about how I needed a creative outlet, and she quizzed me on what I'd want to do. She surprised me with a Huion Kamvas tablet, and I've been drawing since late March.

This is the latest piece that I'm remotely happy with, it's my DnD Character Kaelah.

As someone who also dropped drawing for 20+ years and picked it back up when the pandemic started, Awesome job! Keep it up! Great work on the shading with the metals too! :toot:
Almost 2 years now and it feels great to have that creative outlet again!

I am pretty bad at posting here regularly. :v: Usually in the goonart discord.

Really cool expressions! I need to do an expression study for Kaelah. Also drawing her horns is hard. I found a 3d model of ram horns on sketchfab to use as a reference though.

Quick sketch I did of her, based on a scene where the party's Bard kept hitting on her.

i only recently learnt how to doodle. as a kid i had to jump straight to fully finished art, every drawing had to be of something and it had to look good or i'd get in trouble for wasting my time. turns out it's fun to draw lots of shapes when even you don't know what the hell it's meant to be.

One of my New Years Resolutions is to try and do art more consistently - the goal is daily but that's obviously not going to happen so I'm trying to settle for at least a few times a week instead of going months without plugging my tablet in.

Thought it would be fun to see my first and last sketches of the year side by side, both studies coincidentally. It's been a year and a half now since I started drawing for the first time since elementary school and it's something I'm really enjoying this time around - I think some of the fundamentals are beginning to click and I'm starting to be able to feel out the structure a bit more instead of just trying to create a likeness. Feeling a bit better about my anatomy but heads are still quite tricky. Still need to learn to push contrast more, it's very counterintuitive for me for some reason - think I might try out drawing with vine charcoal next just to kinda force me to commit to bigger tonal differences.

That's really cool! Looks like a similar format to my coasters as well. What size are those squares and what material?

Very nice, definite improvement! I usually sketch with a 2B or even 4B pencil instead of regular HB which makes everything darker by default and makes it easier to push the darks.

I was in snowy places over New Year's so have some winter-y watercolor paintings:

It was -10 degrees Celsius (14 Fahrenheit) during this one so I mixed some vodka into my water brush. The colors behaved a bit weird but it still worked.

I'm starting to really like watercolor and the difficulty of it. It forces me to think more in shapes and values since it's impossible to draw actual "things".

Didn't have time to finish this one but winter landscapes make for good black and white ink drawings.
