Haven't posted much in this thread, mostly cause I didn't really care about gofundme updates (not criticizing the updates, it just wasn't something I cared to comment on), but goddamn hearing this update is really getting to me. This is remarkably good news. Young guy, healthy, in a city with what I understand to have is one of the better trauma center in the country. He had the best shot of anyone at making any kind of recovery at all. Gonna be a long road but I’m so glad to hear he’s moving in the right direction.

I can't imagine at all being told all the insane crazy poo poo that that dude is going to get told at some point in the near future. People were so concerned about you, individually, that they canceled the first NFL game in progress in living memory, your charity made more in 72 hours than you might make in your entire career, The overwhelming majority of people in a country that can't agree on literally anything were supportive of you and you've basically been one of the primary new stories nationally since you went down.

I'm really relieved. I hope he makes a full recovery. It's weird, all over the country and the world there's countless people in similar situations and the only people who care are a small circle of family, friends, co-workers, but this guy is in a big entertainment public eye because of his talent and drive and so now millions of people have been anxiously awaiting that rare and precious good news. Being famous must be so loving weird.
