I'm so glad I was around for Mike in his prime. Mike and crew showing up to the AGDQ14 casual room at 4AM to take over the rock band setup to play California Uber Alles and dip out to keep waiting for breakfast to start is an all time GDQ memory for me.

It's not from a gdq but at rpglb 2019 we all went out to karaoke (great little queer piano bar, I'm not a bar person but this place was amazing) and Mike's turn comes up and he starts belting out Don't Stop Me Now and it was like the spirit of Freddie Mercury descended from the heavens and possessed him for those few moments, that owned

He kept saying that Mike is not gonna ban him for going over time with one of his runs in a bit too cocky tone and Mike banned him for one year. Or at least that's how they spin it. They seem to have a bit of a banter-ish relationship. It's been a running joke since.
