I mean, one of the many flaws in her campaign was that she was more focused on running up the score in states that she already had on lock, rather than campaign in other areas that could have been helpful to her. And it isn't like the EC was some surprise new rule that had just come out. It's been pretty well known for centuries how the EC works at this point. Sure, yeah, the EC is still bullshit and needs to be abolished, but I don't think it actively worked against her.

 I suspect this might be something of a send-off for Sinfest - Space Cadet Omoly seems to not be posting it anymore and half the thread wanted it to stop anyway. Certainly I can't be bothered to start posting it myself, and with "this strip's 'ironic' depicition of child sexualisation is too close for me to want to post it" happening multiple times I imagine it wouldn't last much longer even if anyone else wanted to. Ishida has gone from SWERF to TERF to open fascist edgelord under our watch (having previously gone from edgelord to Born Again Male Feminist Ally, Enemy Of Pornography and descended from there), and while there is always deeper for Ishida to go down the radicalisation rabbit hole, maybe it's best not to follow him. I mean, if someone else finds something worthwhile to say about his future output then I'm not going to stop you, unless someone wants to get the mods to add it to the Don't Post List, but unless something particularly exciting happens I can see the worth in leaving it here. Ishida still seems to be getting some engagement on Twitter, but he has at least lost his (already dwindling) Patreon recently, so maybe he'll finally wrap up his doomed project for good and get a worthwhile job that benefits anyone. I imagine not, though. This is the kind of guy who will go to his grave ranting at shadows and demanding to be taken seriously by a wider society he refuses to properly understand. His weird turn toward conservative Christianity as cure for all social ills really feels undermined by the simultaneous insistence that God is a malicious clown. I'm happy to see it keep going if anybody wants to post them but I also have been getting the feeling that it's not too far out from when it's just too vile to even mock, maybe sending it off before then is for the best.

I like how he delayed killing her off a week to establish that these two are friends, a thing he could have done at any point during the year, but decided it was more important to suck Elon’s musky dick for the 30th time. For the life of me, I cannot understand why he insists on making this a recurring thing. He forgets to post it for months at a time, and then rushes it towards a pointless conclusion that has little bearing on anything. This year, he forget to even introduce the new baby year until late January, and then she fell off for like half a year. He clearly prefers to make yet another Pervert League of Doom joke than a focused narrative, so why keep doing it?

Okay, setting aside everything else about Sinfest, I want to focus on this particular comic because it fails so badly as a comic. It just bugs me so much. Holy poo poo, how badly do you mess up something this loving basic? No border between the two panels usually indicates that it's a single image, part of the same 'shot'. We've already established that the stain glass are next to each other in the previous comics, which further emphasizes that this all a single continuous image. Except Ishida flips the camera, so not only is the character in the same shot with herself, she's also facing towards herself, usually used to establish a relation between two characters. It literally reads like the unnamed woman is talking to a doppelganger. And it's so easy to fix! I did this in less than 30 seconds in MS Paint: He's been doing this for longer than I've been alive. How is he making mistakes this basic? Tim Buckley managed to understand this concept in Loss.jpg
