Zombie Urza risen to fight the Phyrexians who have used planeswalkers to summon and compleat Nicol Bolas and Emrakul would make me interested in the MtG story for the first time since 1997.

What about regular Urza time-traveled from the moment of his Sylex blast to the present via Teferi shenanigans, versus all those things? https://twitter.com/DominicIan4/status/1611177935075168256

That will do, yes. E - Mishra needs to fit in somewhere.

With Card Conjurer going down, what's the best custom card maker? I want to make some cool treasure/clue tokens.

You know, I didn't think much about the new Tyvar when I first saw him, but my buddy pointed out that he plays really nice with Devoted Druid stuff in Modern: I might try him in a Hermit shell for EDH. CatstropheWaitress posted:Magic Set Editor is great. Thanks!

Good thing the only 'Play Creature Cards from the top of your library' card is 7 mana.

With all the new poo poo coming out constantly this one flew right by me.

I enjoy how there are like 27 different pieces of solid graveyard hate that all function slightly differently. Must suck playing against and having to remember how every single one works and is circumvented though.

You really don't need to care. You only need to worry about the one you actually see them play, which you can do just by reading the card as they play it. The many and varied differences between them only really matter when you're deciding which one to put in your deck.

Mat Cauthon posted:Could go the other way, since all of the heroes that know where Emrakul is (Jace, Tamiyo, Nissa) and who are good at summoning big monsters across planes (Lukka, Nahiri) are getting bodyhorrored. Also IIRC Jace is the one that Ugin left instructions with about the Prison Zone, right? Ugin has to figure in to the story somehow, given that colorless magic might have some advantage now that all the Phyrexians are rocking their technicolor dreamcoats. I built a colorless Eldrazi/Phyrexia commander list because honestly the idea of the two Big Bads coming together was hilarious to me and I'm sorta pumped to play it this weekend, considering it's the first physical deck I've built in ages.

I fully expect it to be something much less wild than that, though.
