Endorph posted:diamant's design really reminds me of ike's which makes it funny that roy seems to be his default engage. Roy has Lancereaver, so that’s a really good fit with his personal skill. It’ll be interesting to see all the weird strats flooding in after release though.

Okay it's bothering me too much that of the Elusian retainer team, Kagetsu and Goldmary are clearly promoted (Swordmaster and Hero), Rosado is probably promoted, but Zelkov-the one of the four that seems the oldest-is an unpromoted Thief. He should be an Assassin!

Was hoping for a Volke-style reveal based on some of Yunaka's dialogue but Thief going up to level 25 seems to suggest otherwise.

Yeah it seems to be fe1/3 style where thief doesnt promote but has a higher level cap.

eh, modern FE usually lets you use the lategame prepromotes for like half the game. Xander joins in chapter 15 of 28.
