At best some scandal will cause Biden to realize he wants to spend the last of his days with his family instead of in the White House, so he drops out some time between now and the General. There's no way he's resigning no matter what he does or is accused of.

Unless Biden has a major health issue he'll run again. There just isn't anyone he can simply hand the torch to. Harris' approval ratings are HILARIOUSLY bad. Even if he gave her his full voiced and shadow support that's no guarantee primary voters wouldn't flock to another candidate.

I'm still really liking Tammy Duckworth as a possible candidate.

I don't think Kamala will win any sort of primary but are her approval ratings HILARIOUSLY bad? Realclearpolitics has Harris at 36.5 approval and Trump at 36.7. On 538, Kamala has 40.7 approval and Trump has 40.0%. I mean, Trump is Trump, but on balance, she has a higher approval rating than him.

She’s got little kids and doesn’t want it. Gov of Il Pritzker does though and he’s definitely eyeing it but won’t step on Joe so no primary there. And Biden’s running. He’ll probably announce after SOTU though some are saying April (which would purportedly be after the pandemic state of emergency ends, assuming there’s not yet another surge that they can’t obfuscate).

Easy money for 2028 primaries includes Pritzker and Newsom. And Mayor Pete. We will never be rid of him.

He's still their spiritual leader but the man can't get cameras on his rallies, his not-tweets aren't breaking news headlines, he just isn't the all-consuming attention vortex he was in 2015-16. Even if he weasels out of prosecution for Jan 6 he's a has-been in terms of mainstream appeal. Although enough chuds might write in Trump/stay home to cost the GOP the election regardless of who the Democrat is.
