Honestly the Hulu with Live TV deal is one of the better values (which is why they keep bumping it up or trying to tie it into bundles). Get access to all the channels with live sports and wrestling (except for loving AXIS). Counts as a "Cable" sub so you get access to full libraries on channel apps for TBS, TNT, Fox, etc.

It feels like every year a chunk of the IWC declares this is gonna be year that WWE/AEW jump to streaming and all I can think is "yeah that's probably the fastest way for them to go out of business at this point" cause god drat streaming is a constant dumpster fire and the bubble is 100% gonna burst at some point

Especially since Wrestling can provide content year round which can be sold as a way to reduce subscriber churn

i get how people would say that monopolizing the industry again would be bad, but IMO it would be far preferable that tony khan own WWE than any of the potential buyers i've seen, which is either the saudis (lmao) or a major media company that is going to gut talent even worse than vince did during the pandemic
