But why expose yourself to facebook when you could have someone take that bullet for you. I love having designated drivers but for social media.

For whatever reason I'm less charitable to the memes when I see them out in the wild instead of when someone picks & posts them here. It's like someone else vouching for them makes them funnier.

This batch was all pretty good but this one just hit exactly the right notes for me. I just watched this episode for the first time like a month ago and this scene caught me off guard. Something about Roger's "Oooo, I'm gettin' nipped a whole bunch right now!"

Most nouns in Chinese referring to relatively new concepts are like that. Learning Chinese was remarkably refreshing in that respect, for example “movie” is just “electric projection”, “telephone (call)” is “electric speech”, “television” is “electric viewing”, “computer” is “electric brain”, and so on. Other languages either borrow extensively or make up weird neologisms (like French) but in Chinese they just call things what they are. What I’m saying is China is a land of Moes.

Movie is "moving pictures", telephone is "far voice", and television is "far viewing".

I use sign language daily and a similar logic exists Groundskeeper= Use-man Oyster = snot cradle Circumcision = penis tip circle surgery Space = area "up there" It's a beautiful, but blunt language
