New Obituary out today! I wanted to support local so I started looking around. Found out the old metal shop closed a long time ago and some dude is running a tiny metal punk shop on FRI/SAT/SUN in his spare time. It's called THE DOOR. So, I found that to be an interesting name. So I punch in the address and show up to this.  lmao gently caress yes  im going to like this place i know it  Went in and it's basically this living room sized area just loaded with metal vinyl, cassettes, cds. Grabbed the new Obituary, looked over all his stuff and stuck to my guns for now. Spoke with the dude for a while and he's super cool and let me know where to find more show listings beyond Facebook and all the big events coming up. Awesome. New Obituary rocks. Kinda hard for them to gently caress up what they've been doing for a while. Vocals are less WARHMWAH and more Waaaaaarrr while keeping that punkish edge. Last track is DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM.

Never met the guy because we lived in different parts of the country but let's just say he had a reputation as a bit of a bellend well before all that poo poo went down. (Doesn't look like the prison system did especially well at rehabilitating him. At least he hasn't stabbed any musicians or burnt down any churches since he got out.)
