Married... Had plenty of hate for the yuppies of the day via Marcy and Steve. Financially successful, a bit too clean, enviable and hated all the same. If you pop a tire, hey, you want someone who knows how to change a tire. Anything past that? The 'liberal' not only gives you a drink to keep body temp up but he also probably has an OBD connector to scan your error code, figure out what is wrong and either fix it or get you a lift to someone who can fix it. One thing that I came across while doing my research was an interview with one of the producers, in which he mentioned that they would often pack the studio audience by handing out free tickets at a nearby military base.
