I assume this is because they absolutely despise everybody who lives in there and want them to all die painfully

Cops should have to fill out 10 pages of paperwork, handwritten, in triplicate, each time they flash their lights. Or touch their gun. Or get in a car. Or wake up in the morning. Discourage bad behavior before it leads to manslaughter.

My art studio was a block from where she was hit and even back in the 2000s that area was miserable with poo poo cops blowing lights - stop signs back then since the whole area got transformed over a period of about 5 years by amazon moving in. I also worked in the area for about 3 years - like 2014-2017 regularly saw cops doing that poo poo still. I hate cars and I hate the SPD. edit: Its also close walking distance to where the SPD murdered a native man by shooting him in the back. Do these people not have insurance on their vehicles? Like I know it's not legally required in the states for freedom reasons or whatever dumb excuse, but given that these thefts tend to be financed mega-trucks one has to assume that their financier would require theft coverage anyway.

They probably decline the gap coverage, and those trucks lose a shitload of value the moment they leave the lot (much more than cars, because if all the extra fees the dealers charge).

Anyway we’re a nation of car- and gun-addled morons, so it’s no wonder that when someone takes the former people decide to resolve the situation with the latter.
