In really trying to like SAC_2045 but I cannot get over the visuals. Aramaki, why are you so obsessed with CGI when you're so clearly bad at it. Why do people keep giving you work and why do you keep making mediocre CGI anime based on things that I like.

Gouda is a brilliant antagonist but the season wasn't quite as strong as the first. I think that you can make a compelling story about Section 9 being forced into an entirely reactionary position that cripples their ability to fight back against their enemies. Unfortunately there were a number of times where characters had to take stupid pills in order for the plot to progress.

I think the only CGI Aramaki thing I can really stand is his Captain Harlock movie since the CGI there is actually decent enough.

The CG in 2045 is, non ideal, but everything else going on with it is good enough that I don't mind it that much. Also watched some more of Vinland saga with the bf, still both liking it quite a bit.
