Yeah the first reports were 'he ran' but now one can see He ran after getting beaten while giving up. Then he got caught and got beaten to death. I watched the videos id suggest you don't, I'm kinda bummed out tonight now and that's not really a thing that happens to me.

So it seems to me, after reading up on the Memphis “Scorpion” Unit, which is a plainclothes Organized Crime unit, and then watching the video where a traffic stop begins with OC spray and officers teeing off on the victim, the body language that seems to suggest beating him to death was intentional, that something is up here. It’s by far the worst video I’ve seen and reminds me 1:1 of the Somalia Affair. I can’t think of why, I’m sure it will be part of the investigation, but I suspect this wasn’t a random stop or a random person.

I assume cop crime in cities is largely random until there’s a specific personal link like with that case, completely due to the fact that most cops aren’t living in and interacting with the communities they do cop stuff in. It’s hard to build relationships of any kind when you just sort of drive around for a while and then take a nap in your car before driving back to the town you actually live in.
