Top speed of those utes is 270kph abeit with a tray cover on. That one looks like it doesnt have that so it'll be likely a touch slower. There's a pretty high probability that the driver is never going to be able to drive (legally) ever again. There have been circumstances like this in the past where someone gets on their L-plates, goes hooning, gets caught by the cops, loses their L-plates and then cannot reapply for several years.

It's stock mechanically apart from the wheels. the wheels just have 5 dummy bolts on them. I had a SOHC MX-3 and that thing was a loving turd. Handled great tho. The DOHC in later models was apparently not as terrible. I remember getting pulled over after taking off from a stop light, flooring it and redlining 1 and 2. My first car was a 1st gen base model 4cyl probe which I later did a turbo conversion to It was so long ago that I cant remember what it drove like other than it made enough torque to cause a brand new stock clutch to slip in 5th gear when the turbo spooled up.
