I discovered that author, Alastair Reynolds, last year and read through that series plus a ton of his other stuff. It's all generally fun, although I don't think the author sticks the landing that often.

Making the API write-only will do nothing to stop spam. Making it free for read-only would allow researchers, journalists, etc to determine information on Twitter trends, which Elon doesn't want.

musk strikes me as the type that if he went to a restaurant, he would pay with large bills, demand exact change and check to make sure he got exact change and then write a lovely thing in as a tip or leave one of those fake bills that are actually a bible passage
