My least favorite is calling levels "boards" as in Mario 3-5 is a tough board or I really like the board E1M1 in Doom. Strike that, no, it was the deranged person who called Persona 5 a "Strategy RPG"

Defeating a game sounds quite metal. And overcoming a game makes it feel like you became the eventual champion. Besting a game makes it feel like you got one over on it.
