I wonder how Galactus would fare if only the locations were ruined, invalidating them for scoring, but leaving any cards in play for the sake of ongoing effects. Might give Super Skrull an actual niche. Not saying I've thought about it a lot, but one of my least favorite things is how much free advantage you get for Death and Knull

Have any of you Shuri-havers had the chance to play with Sauron? A Shuri deck took me to infinite this season, and obtaining that big ol Pteranodon seems like a logical progression for that deck archetype to take.

Going to balance out my bitching a bit by saying how much fun I’ve had with MODOK. It’s really renewed my enjoyment of the game and I’ve never felt confident in snapping and retreating as I have this season so far. I Mained sera surfer the past two seasons and make mid 90s with pretty boring deck but this one I’m not caring nearly as much about climbing

He's really freaking good. Yoir red skull, lizard, ebony maw, etc etc are all pre-zeroed. Kingpin is a fav of mine, pair him with aero or magneto (or even polaris) and stomp the poo poo out of suckers on t6. I was just thinking today he’s be quite effective against the dracula heavy decks you see a lot of paired with magneto.

I think kingpin could fit a sera surfer that runs aero and juggernaut. I wont play it myself tho because I only play dino decks.

I now belive he's possibly even downgrade. The thing is he opens up some lines of play that let you win shuriless games, but he turns off two very important cards that you will miss (unless you don't play them to begin with) Those cards are armor and cosmo. I kind of feel like the deck doesn't need more consistency in making two 30ish power lanes. It needs more consistency in protecting that game plan. I'm kind of a weirdo though in that I don't like running Zola. My deck is Iceman, Sunspot, armor, lizard, Mr F, cosmo, shuri, skull, aero, task, SH, and Chavez. Instead of going for a task or zola play turn 6, I like playing for a Task or SH/Aero play. I feel like Shuri enables the deck but Aero turn 6 just wins games. Valkyrie does nothing to Dino, buffs darkhawk and morbius, so there are situations where she is worse than just playing Sentinel much less two 3 power cards (or Mystique + another card).

lol. Peak swapped power on Jubilee. Pulled down Infinaut. Turn 3 they play wave and I say gently caress it to 50:50 Infinaut and Jubilee for Zola. Zola grabs Jubilee who pulls down Panther and Devil Dino. Bifrost moves my Jubilees into the Panther lane and Infinaut, Devil Dino and Zola into the same lane. Turn 5 I drop Shuri at which point my opponent had seen enough just before I could Odin the chonky boy lane but after we had both snapped. This game is so dumb sometimes.
