Saw Everything Everywhere All at Once which was decently fun but mainly put me in the mood to watch a real martial arts movie so I settled on rewatchingFist of Fury.

Watch The Gangster, The Cop, The Devil (2019). Great movie. I give it an 8/10. Like many crime movies of this type there is basically no mystery element to it, but it's gritty and it's fun to watch the dirty homicide cop and the mafia boss beat the poo poo out of each other every other scene. Ive only seen a couple movies with Ma Dong-seok but he plays a great bruiser. I looked it up on Wikipedia after because it has one of those based on a true story title cards and discovered that Sylvester Stallone is going to produce an American remake which sounds awful and like it's going to make everyone I ever talk to about this movie think of a really bad remake, like with Oldboy or Ghost in the Shell. ----------------

I don't understand why they didn't just film in Ireland lol

Some concepts I liked but it felt like it wanted to do a lot of things and didn't end up doing any well, body horror element felt sort of tacked-on

You definitely should not kill yourself". There is some stuff occasionally interesting about all the stuff they had to do for early seasons. Like the business opposite of the Patty's pub set would have their employees honk their horns while they were filming so they could extort them for some cash. It's also way too long I generally liked the movie overall but yeah it really needed to trim down a lot, all the hot-dog gags and all the other jokes that weren’t particularly funny the first time and then they all have another 5 scenes dedicated to them. There was a point where I felt like the movie was wrapping up so I checked how much time was left to see if I had time to start another movie afterward and I flipped out when I saw I was still 50 minutes from the end
