"Krasnopol" allows to achieve a direct hit in the object, the deviation from the line of sight does not exceed two meters. The maximum range of fire is up to 25 kilometers.

During special operations in Ukraine, Russian troops use a reconnaissance-fire circuit - a howitzer with a Krasnopol shell and an unmanned aerial vehicle with a laser rangefinder that flies in the target area. A variant with ground laser designator illumination of the target has also been used more than once.
